Terms of Purchase - Learning & Development Products
Thank you for your interest in Fi360's products. The product(s) you are about to purchase is/are subject to the following terms of purchase.
Training Products
AIF® Training: The AIF® Training is available in three formats: AIF® Self-Paced Online (“Online”), AIF® Virtual Class ("Virtual") and AIF® Capstone (“Capstone”). Each product includes access to identical online educational content. Upon purchase, one hundred eighty (180) days of access to the online content is provided with the Capstone, Virtual, and Self-Paced Online formats. The Capstone format includes an additional 6-8 hours of instructor-led learning. The Virtual format includes five sessions of two hours of virtual classroom time with an AIF® instructor.
Upon expiration of access to the online training content, a participant may purchase a one hundred eighty (180) day extension for a fee ($150). Access to the content is granted for one hundred eighty (180) days with each extension.
In the event of cancellation by the participant, a refund is available within seventy-two (72) hours of purchase provided the online content has not been accessed, and the request is made at least twenty one (21) days prior to the instructor-led seminar (if applicable).
Transfer requests – either to a new instructor-led seminar date or different training format – are subject to a transfer fee of $175 and must be made at least two (2) weeks prior to a scheduled instructor-led seminar (if applicable). Only one transfer is permitted, and a participant may not transfer to an instructor-led seminar scheduled more than ninety (90) days in the future. Transfer from the Online to the Capstone or Virtual format is subject to an additional fee (equal to the price difference between formats). A refund is not granted for transfer from the Capstone or Virtual to Online format.
AIFA® Training: In order to be eligible to attend the AIFA® Training, an active AIF® Designation is required. Upon purchase of the AIFA® Training, a participant is provided with access to required pre-reading materials only. The course content itself is delivered during a three-day, instructor-led seminar.
In the event of cancellation by the participant, a full refund is available provided the request is made at least twenty-one (21) days prior to the instructor-led seminar.
Requests to transfer to a different instructor-led seminar date are subject to a transfer fee of $175 and must be made at least two (2) weeks prior to the seminar date in which the participant is currently enrolled. Only one transfer is permitted.
PPC® Training: The PPC® Training is available in the Online format only; PPC® Self-Paced Online (“Online”). Upon purchase, one hundred eighty (180) days of access to the online content is provided with the Online format.
Upon expiration of access to the online content, a participant may purchase a one hundred eighty (180) day extension for a fee of $150. Access to the online content is granted for one hundred eighty (180) days with each extension.

Fiduciary Essentials® for Defined Contribution Plans: Upon purchase, one hundred eighty (180) days of access is provided. No extensions are available.
A refund is available within seventy-two (72) hours of purchase provided the course has not been accessed.
CE Short Courses: Upon purchase, two (2) days of access is provided. Each course contains approximately one (1) hour of content. Upon expiration, a participant may repurchase the course for an additional two (2) days of access. Any progress previously made will not carry over upon repurchase.
AIF® & PPC® Examination: All AIF® and PPC® Candidates are required to pass the respective Exam.
If the first attempt is unsuccessful, there is a mandatory waiting period of fifteen (15) calendar days prior to the candidate attempting their second exam. On subsequent attempts, there is a mandatory waiting period of thirty (30) calendar days. There is a lifetime limit of five exam attempts. If a passing score is not received, and five attempts were taken, the candidate is no longer eligible for the designation.

AIFA® Examination: Evaluation of AIFA® candidates is based on a combination of class participation and successful completion of the case study. There is no examination associated with becoming an AIFA® designee.
Fi360 Designation Application/Dues
Submission of an Fi360 Designation Application and annual dues (AIF®, AIFA®, & PPC®) is required to attain and retain the corresponding Fi360 Designation. Successful completion of the Fi360 Designation Training and Examination is required prior to submission of the Designation Application.
Fi360 randomly audits 5% of new and renewing designation applications. Upon submission, an audit may be conducted to ensure compliance with, and maintain the integrity of, the Fi360 Designation-granting process. Individuals who are selected for a random audit will be notified as such and will have ten (10) business days from the date of the request to respond with any requested documentation.
Another type of audit is one by an affirmative response to a question within the Conduct Standards Questionnaire. If an applicant submits a violation of the Conduct Standards, the audit is subject to the Qualification and Complaint Procedure and could take up to 30 calendar days to complete.
Designation Applications must be submitted within one (1) year of successful completion of the Designation Examination. After one year, candidacy is terminated, and previously completed Designation Training and/or Examination will be nullified.
Fi360 Designation annual dues are non-refundable.
Designation Reinstatement Fee
Following failure to renew an Fi360 Designation (AIF®, AIFA®, or PPC®), payment of the Designation Reinstatement Fee is required to initiate the reinstatement process. The Designation Reinstatement Fees are distinct from the Fi360 Designation Annual Dues, and must be paid prior to completing the remaining requirements for reinstatement.
Designation Reinstatement Fees are non-refundable.
