In order to reinstate, a former designee has three (3) years from the date of expiration to complete the following steps:
- Login to remit payment of the reinstatement fee
- Accrue and report the requisite continuing education (CE)
- Review and submit the reinstatement application
- Remit payment of the dues
Included in the application are sections to attest to both the Code of Ethics and Conduct Standards. The Code of Ethics consists of the tenets of ethical conduct expected of all designees, while the Conducts Standards pertain to any past criminal and civil litigation, regulatory events, and personal and professional conduct.
The reinstatement fee may be waived on a case by case basis upon approval of a written hardship request submitted within fifteen (15) days of expiration.
