We have overhauled investment research capabilities to give you quicker and easier investment screening and analysis.
Investment Screener 'How to' Guide:
1. Start by selecting 'Investment Screener' from the dashboard on the left side of screen and click to start a 'New Search.'
2a. You are now at the default data point screen. Any data point visible on this screen will be available for review on the results page. If you wish to add or remove data points, click the 'Change Data Points' button in the top right corner.
2b. If you wish to add or remove data points, click the 'Change Data Points' button in the top right corner. Put a check mark in the box next to the data points you wish to add and click 'Make Selection.'
2c. Toggle the buttons within each data point 'tile' from red to green - for the applicable data points you wish to filter with. Click and drag the slider bar (in the applicable tiles) along the green line to manipulate requirements - or enter the desired digits into the text-field boxes. 'Red' data points will be visible on the results page.
2d. Within any data point/filter that has a long list of items, such as the Investment Lists or Fund Family, you can filter the items by typing part of their name into the open search field instead of having to scroll through the entire list.
2e. If you already know what investments you would like to research you can copy and paste a set of ticker symbols into the 'Search by Ticker(s) box. Please note, you can additionally screen these pasted tickers by adding and/or utilizing other filters per the previous step (2b).
3. Once you are satisfied with the amount of results, click the 'View Results' button.
4. From here, you can do several things:
- Simply review/sort the data - Any data point can be placed into ascending or descending order by clicking the header at the top of the screen.
- Generate an Investment Research Report - This can be done by clicking the 'Generate Report' button, then select the data period and report template that you wish to use, and finally click Generate Report.

Generate an Investment Comparison Report - Select up to 5 different funds (by checking the boxes) that you would like to compare. Click on the icon that looks like a picnic table. Now you can review the comparison of funds on screen, or click 'Download PDF' to download a more comprehensive report.

Add investments directly to Client Accounts - Put a check mark in the box next to the fund(s) you would like to add, then click the 'Y' shaped arrow icon. A window will open and you will be able to search for your client account(s) list and that you wish to add the fund(s) to. Once the account(s) has/have been selected then click the 'Add' button in the lower right of the screen.
An 'Investment Action' box will pop up. You will be able to select whether you wish to add the fund/s as CURRENT holdings or PROPOSED holdings within your CLIENT account.

Download your results to Excel - Click the 'download' icon on the top right area of the screen; the report will then download with all of the funds in a excel format.

Save your search - Click the floppy disc icon on the top right area of the screen. You will then be prompted to name the search and then click 'save.'

Edit Search - When you click this button you will return to the data points selection screen.

Clear Search - When you click this icon you will return to the Investment Screener 'Home' page and all of the additional data points that you had set up previously will be removed.

Load Existing - Within the Investment Screener (data point) screen there is a folder icon; when you click on this you will be able to load a previously saved search.
