When used properly, the AIF®, AIFA®, and PPC® Designation marks demonstrate completion of rigorous training and examination requirements, as well as a commitment to professional and ethical conduct. It is critical that the marks be used in accordance with the policy to ensure their value as trademarks is maintained.
The guidelines set forth in the policy is intended to address the majority of use cases of the marks. However, they do not cover every feasible scenario. Furthermore, consultation with a legal and/or compliance professional prior to using the marks is strongly advised to comply with any additional guidelines set forth by company or industry regulation.
