You can create Watch List Triggers in one of two ways. You can create your own from scratch or you can copy an existing Trigger and build upon it.
To Create a Watch List Trigger from Scratch
- Click on Application Management (gear icon in the top right of your screen).
- Select 'Watch List Triggers' from the dashboard on the left > click +ADD New Trigger (on the top right area of the screen).
- When the window appears, there is an option of Required and Flexible Triggers. Required Triggers are based off of the individual performance of that one data point. If your fund fails one (1) of the Required Triggers the fund will appear on your Watch List. You will select your criteria from the drop-down and you can add as many triggers as you desire. You can set a threshold based on ‘Periods’ or 'Quarters.' You can also set NULL VALUES to pass or fail based on if a fund is missing a particular data point you select. For example: if you have a data point selected for 5-Year Return - % rank and the fund is too new to have that data available a NULL VALUE set to FAIL will then put that fund on the Watch List.
- Flexible Triggers are based on the groups you create; you can make several groups with different data points.
- You will then set a minimum amount of Required Conditions the fund has to meet in order for the fund to stay off of the Watch List. For example: if you set it for 2 of 4 Required Conditions and the fund were to fail 3 of those conditions that fund will appear on your Watch List.
- Once you are satisfied with your selections click PUBLISH on the bottom right. You will then be prompted to Name your Trigger and click confirm.
**Please note once a Watch List Trigger is Published you are not able to edit or make changes to the Watch List Trigger.***
