Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) Designation
Scope
The purpose of the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) Designation is to assure that those responsible for managing or advising on investor assets have a fundamental understanding of the principles of fiduciary duty, the standards of conduct for acting as a fiduciary, and a process for carrying out fiduciary responsibility.
Initial Requirements
There are five requirements for attaining the AIF® Designation:
- Enroll in and complete AIF® training that satisfies AIF® training requirements.
- Pass the AIF® examination.
- Meet the experience requirements (prerequisites).
- Satisfy the Code of Ethics and Conduct Standards.
- Submit the application and dues ($375).
All requirements must be met within one (1) year of passing the examination. After one year, a candidate must retake and pass the exam to meet the examination requirement for certification.

Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst® (AIFA®) Designation
Scope
The purpose of the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst® (AIFA®) Designation is to assure that those responsible for independently assessing or auditing entities understand the internal policies, procedures, and workflows to conformance to prudent fiduciary standards.
Initial Requirements (Prerequisites)
There are six requirements for obtaining the AIFA® Designation:
- Earn and hold the AIF® Designation.
- Meet the experience requirements (prerequisites).
- Enroll in and complete AIFA® Designation training.
- Pass the AIFA® assessment.
- Satisfy the Code of Ethics and Conduct Standards.
- Submit the application (Initial dues will be credited by the Fi360 Designee Team).
All requirements must be met within one (1) year of passing the assessment. After one year, a candidate must retake and pass the assessment.

Professional Plan Consultant® (PPC®) Designation
Scope
Retirement plan sponsors turn to their advisors to help them navigate the regulatory landscape, implement an efficient process for plan administration, and to help participants achieve their retirement goals. The Professional Plan Consultant® (PPC®) training and designation empowers advisors with the knowledge and skills needed to provide these services while growing their plan business.
