The Fi360 Proposal Report gives you the ability to win new business with a clear, credible PDF that clients quickly understand. The Proposal feature is now located within the actual Client interface, which is under Book of Business/Clients.
- From the dashboard on the left, click on the Clients tab and either click to Add a New Client or click into an existing client that you would like to propose a new line up for.

Once you are within the Client, click on the ‘Proposals’ tab and Click ‘Add New Proposal’ and a window will open.


- Fill in the populated form.


Please Note:
- the “Related Current Account” will bring in the current lineup of the Client you are creating the Proposal for
- if you do not want to include the Current Holdings then do not select a Related Current Account
- the 3 Character Label will be used as the identifier for the Proposal, i.e, it could be PRO for Proposed lineup, or the first 3 characters of the name of a recordkeeper platform, etc.
You have the option to AUTO-POPULATE HOLDINGS by clicking on it at the bottom of the window, OR you can click Start New and either manually enter the holdings or upload them from a spreadsheet.
- If you Select AUTO-POPULATE HOLDINGS a box will pull up with Criteria points and you will be able to select the Criteria that applies, and then click ‘Activate Search.’

A summary will populate, and you will then click ‘Continue.’

This will pull you into the Proposal with the auto-populated holdings.
- If you select ‘START NEW’ you will automatically be pulled into the Proposal At this point you will be able to manually add funds by clicking the blue ‘+New Holdings’ button or click the Upload arrow (highlighted in the screenshot below on the right side) to upload holdings using an Excel Spreadsheet. (You will follow the same process as you would when you make holdings updates or spreadsheet changes in a current account. Click here for information on making holdings updates).


The investments you enter under Holdings will show as the Proposed investments in the Proposal Report. You will have the ability to create up to three (3) proposed lineups for the same account by adding more than one proposal to this tab. This can be used to highlight different creation dates, or provider platforms.

Once you have added your funds you can make any revenue sharing updates by clicking the ‘Revenue Sharing’ tab within the proposal and click ‘Edit.’


Once you click edit you can type in any changes you may need and click ‘Save.’ This section can be updated at any time.

- The Fund Mapping tab is where you will have the ability to Map all of your current holdings to the proposed funds you wish to illustrate in your Proposal.


Once you click on the Fund Mapping tab you will have two (2) options:
- You can manually Drag the fund from your current holdings and Drop that fund directly under the fund you plan to map those assets to. Please note you can map multiple holdings to one proposed fund.
- You can use the AUTOMAP feature which maps funds with matching share classes to one another. If you select this option, you will also be able to make manual changes by dragging/moving the funds.
- ADDITIONALLY, for each fund that you are mapping you have the option to split the mapping by clicking the split arrow symbol below that is located to the far right on the row of each CURRENT HOLDING.

The Proposal process allows you to add Cost Profiles to calculate the total cost of the proposed lineup. You have the option to select an existing Cost Profile(s) or to create them within the Proposal.


If you do not know how to create a Cost Profile you can view the instructions by CLICKING HERE.
- To download the Proposal Report return to the original Proposal Screen. Enter a check mark in the box(es) of the Proposal(s) you would like included in your report; you can select up to 3 proposals along with your current holdings, and then click Generate Report.
A window will come up and you will now have the option to: include the current account holdings (check the box, if so), select the data period, and select the template you wish to use for the Proposal Report. There are system/default templates available, but you are also able to create custom Proposal Report templates (click here for guidance).

NOTE: you can download the proposed holdings to an EXCEL file for future use, for example you can upload the proposed lineup into a client account under Book of Business/Clients after you earn their business.
To delete a Prospect or Proposal, click on the action button “⋮" and selecting 'Delete' or select the appropriate Prospect(s) and click on the *trash can* icon in the top right corner.
