New Feature - New/Improved Research Report Sections
The Investment Factsheet now has an additional page showing historical trends of the underlying Fiduciary Score criteria (formerly page 2 of the Investment Profile report). This is an important part of an advisor’s due diligence and the factsheet is now a comprehensive report for ‘detailed’ investment analysis. The Investment Factsheet now provides the most relevant and useful information from the Classic Toolkit Investment Profile and Factsheet reports.
Less visible but just as important, many factsheet sections had minor adjustments applied to maintain FINRA compliance. This allows our broker dealer clients to continue to use our reports.
Also, prior to this release, the Investment Factsheet was only available one (1) investment at a time. Now, feel free to select multiple investments for in-depth analysis of "watch-listed" funds, several funds within the same peer group, or for any reason at all!
To go along with the Investment Factsheet, the Fi360 Fiduciary Score Summary has been updated to include the new and improved Fi360 Fiduciary Score Scatterplot. A notable improvement is the labeling of 'bubbles' within the Fi360 Fiduciary Score Scatterplot with colors and numbers to avoid any confusion with clients. The scatterplot can now be created as a stand-alone report outside of a Monitoring Report. All this allows for a broader application of the Scatterplot to showcase investment lineups and whole platforms. Click the below 'View Sample Reports' link to see all of our updated report sections! Improved Feature - New Integration Providers
The following 401k recordkeepers are either active or will launch in February as active integration partners. It is noted beside each provider. All require Firm Level integration authorization. This means that if the rep is affiliated with a Broker/Dealer or large RIA, the provider will require home office approval for the integration connection.
- Nationwide (requires DTCC Membership) – Active
- Security Benefit – Active
- The Standard - Active
- PCS – March Launch
- ADP - Active
- Fidelity - Active
- Principal – March Launch
Please note, ADP, Fidelity, and Principal do not send data directly to third parties. The BD/RIA/Financial Advisor will have to obtain the file and send it to us as often as they want updated data.
Improved Feature - Delete Prospects & Shortlists
Users can now delete unwanted prospect accounts or investment shortlists within the Fiduciary Focus Toolkit. Click the action button “⋮” on the right side of the screen and select ‘Delete’. This removes prospects and shortlists in the Fiduciary Focus Toolkit™ that cause clutter. Shortlist deletion also removes unwanted investment changes from the monitoring report. Overall this makes our software more user friendly.
Upcoming Releases
While not directly available to you yet, we have added the infrastructure to support configurable report templates. Within your account, you will see a set of templates pre-populated for you in the Research Report dropdown. In an upcoming release, we will enable the ability for you to create your own templates.
Once we expose that functionality, you will be able to configure your own report templates by selecting the sections you want and the order you want them in. In addition, you will be able to hide certain fields such as the Fi360 Score or asset values and select from various grouping and sorting options within a section to best meet your needs for a particular client or situation.
- First and most importantly…more sections to choose from!
- The ability to select from a set of Templates when generating a Monitoring and Proposal Report.
- The ability to create/manage your own Templates directly.
- The ability to change the peer group benchmark index shown in the report.
