This article provides information on applying for a hardship related to designation renewals, reinstatements and refunds. For details on requesting an in-person exam proctor, an experience substitution or a medical or disability request please see the Special Accommodations article.
Definition
Requests for a reduction of fees due to unforeseen, extraordinary circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Examples of such circumstances that could warrant a hardship include:
- Death in the family
- Sudden catastrophic event [i.e., house fire]
- Military duty
- Serious medical issues
Hardship requests should be submitted to fi360support@broadridge.com. Please allow ten (10) business days for a final decision from Fi360. All decisions are final.
